    • Fennekin’s evolution line and the Eeveelutions are big faves, but, really, any species I have an OC or sona of is encouraged!

These are either subjects I feel I could draw, but don’t draw often in my personal art, so I may take a lot of extra guidance to get it right. Or not something I am particularly interested in.

Don’t Ask

If you give me anything on this list, consider it an automatic refusal of your commission. Either I don’t want to draw it, or feel I can’t provide good quality.

  • Telegram stickers (unless you are one of my patrons)
  • ref sheets (patrons or close friends only)
  • characters from a text description when it’s not explicitly a character design commission
  • humanoids (skill issue)
  • offensive, bigoted, or harmful imagery
  • real world military themes
  • FFXIV, My Little Pony, and Floraverse characters
  • mecha
  • IRL tattoo designs
  • comics
  • lineart only
    • might be obvious, but I like coloring the most, I don’t find it worth taking commissions if I don’t get to do that

Common causes for extra fees

  • Body part/clothing complexity: $10+
    • I will figure out the pricing on the spot, but, depending on design, I may charge extra for extra limbs, mechanical limbs, wings, and horns, to name a few examples. This is not an exhaustive list. However, I have gotten more confident with characters with extra tails, and up to nine probably will not have a complexity charge unless they are requested to be interacting with other characters or objects.
  • Complex markings: $10+
    • Fee waived if character is drawn on-model to Viva Piñata and has little limb definition.
  • Your extra character: same base price
    • Extra character may be subject to extra complexity fees if they warrant it.
    • Will be discounted further if meaningfully obscured in relation to the type of commission, or if it is the same character.
  • Custom Character: up to +$30
    • Depends on amount of guidance given and how complex the character is intended to be.
    • I do much better with visual references than written, i.e. “I want hair like this picture”
    • Please check my created designs on my Toyhouse account for a general idea of my design aesthetic – I feel I am more suited to mammalian and Pokemon themed characters.
  • Private Commission: +100% of cost of final commission
    • My icon commissions do not require a privacy fee, and neither does anonymity. I am also open to obfuscating the character design (few linework changes if any, but very different colors and markings) for free when posting publicly.
    • I do have the right to not post your piece to social media or gallery sites on my own for any reason — you may post it yourself in this case and you will not incur a fee.
    • If a YCH auction gets bought out and is requested not to be posted, I will not charge a privacy fee. However, this will waive the right for the piece to be completely unique, and I will likely auction off a second slot.
  • Mature themes: +$10-$30 depending on idea
    • I don’t draw explicit content for commissions, but I can draw some tame things with the intent to appeal to a fetish. Adult characters only.
    • Will be listed as complexity charge on invoice. I need to charge extra because I cannot use these as part of my normal portfolio.
  • Excessive/Major Edits: varies
    • Edits that are my mistake, such as color changes and adding markings that are already in the commission prompt, are free.
    • Edits in the linework or color phase that are due to unclear direction in the rough sketch phase will cost equivalent to how much time I need to spend changing the piece.
    • I will always send you the entire canvas when first sending the sketch for approval, never assume I have sent you a crop.
    • Major edits that require redrawing the entire piece will be charged for the work I have already done. To avoid this, please come with a pose and idea in mind upfront.
    • I encourage redlining my sketch to point out things such as anatomy errors, please do not be afraid to. I want to create art we are both happy with.
  • Commercial Use: varies
    • Negotiable based on the size and scale of the project. I will not approve commercial use for projects involving generative AI or blockchain technology.

Common causes for discounts

  • Patreon
    • Bark Tier gets 10% off or $5 off, whichever is greater.
    • Stick Tier gets 20% off or $10 off, whichever is greater.
    • Branch Tier gets an icon every month, and has the same discounts as Stick Tier.
  • Fullbody extremely simple characters: depends on commission type
    • This refers to characters that are a simple shape and lacking limb definition – think of Igglybuff and Puttimon.
  • My extra character: +50% of base price of commission, instead of +100%
  • My character only: 75% of base price
  • Character I designed: -10% or -$5 (whichever is a greater discount)
    • This always applies if I am being commissioned to draw a premade adoptable I have sold. Giving discounts to custom designs will be on a case by case basis depending on how much freedom I was given with the design – please don’t ask about it, I will inform you about if I’m going to discount the character when accepting a commission.
  • Redraw: 80% of current price
    • Commission must be over a year old, and composition must be the same.
